Overview:
Hartman Executive Advisors is seeking highly motivated professionals with an interest in technology consulting to join our team in supporting our clients with the desire to learn the fundamentals and gain first-hand exposure to the consulting/advisory/professional services industry. You will work as part of a team helping to solve challenging issues by learning to use industry best-practices and methodologies.
Candidates should have a demonstrated interest in technical consulting, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills.
The Technology Leadership Development Program accelerates professional development by placing participants into Hartman’s technology service line’s key areas in a twelve-month rotation program. As a Hartman Associate, you will collaborate with teams and practice areas across the firm including C-Suite IT Executives, Information Security, IT Infrastructure, Project Portfolio Management and Business Systems & Applications that provide best in class advisory and consulting services to our clients most pressing challenges. Our Associates are an essential part of our project teams that help our clients design and implement effective solutions that deliver value and improve business performance and outcomes.
Upon completion of the program, individuals will have a comprehensive understanding of our operations. Hartman will hold additional interviews towards the end of the 12-month program and may select participants for a full-time role after the program ends. Various available roles and opportunities will be discussed at that time. This program is anticipated to start on June 5th, 2023.
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in a 12-month rotational mentorship program that will provide mentorship and exposure to a wide variety of consulting engagements including but not limited to: IT/Risk Assessments, Software/System Selection & Implementation, Business Process Transformation, Change Management, etc.
Utilize strong communications skills to interact with team members and clients on a daily basis
Engage in critical problem solving and collaboration with peers and leadership teams
Create timely and accurate documentation for all work products
Participate in project planning/estimation
Implement tasks in accordance with schedule
Continuously improve skills, adapt emerging technologies, and apply best practices
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would be a new graduate or have 1-2 years of working experience out of college
Bachelor's Degree or higher in IT related field, Business Management, or Project Management
Prior internship experience preferably in a technology/consulting/advisory setting preferred
Outstanding oral and written communication skills, to include the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to diverse audiences
Self-motivated and possess an entrepreneurial work ethic
Exceptional time management skills and ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment, to include flexibility and creativity
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, Outlook)
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with people at all levels in an organization
