Hartman Executive Advisors is seeking a Resource Relationship Manager to join the People & Change team. The core function of this role is to cultivate and build strategic relationships with industry specific IT C-Suite (CIO, CTO, CISO, VP of IT) professionals locally, regionally and nationally to create a network to engage with on current/future business opportunities including but not limited to the following service lines: Interim CIO assignments, Independent Contractor Projects, Partnerships, Prospective Client Engagements and potential FTE's. Reporting to our Chief of Staff, this role will have an opportunity with leaders internal and external to the organization and enhance Hartman's capabilities to deliver on our clients executive level needs.


  • Grow Hartman's network/connections with IT C-Suite professionals within specific industry verticals such as Healthcare, Financial Services, Non-Profit and Associations
  • Create and implement a proactive engagement strategy regionally and nationally to create and build relationships with IT C-Suite professionals looking to increase their executive presence and exposure to business and career opportunities
  • Become a trusted resource by brokering introductions, providing relevant content and offer opportunities to incorporate IT C-Suite Executives into Hartman's partner community such as CIO Roundtable events, industry events/outings, Centers of Influence, etc.
  • Act as an ambassador of Hartman positioning the firm as a respected, approachable and trusted entity in the industry in an effort to attract potential partners, candidates and/or prospective clients
  • Develop and execute on creative ways to reach and ultimately engage with C-Suite IT Executives utilizing a mix of social media/business sites, in person and virtual events, etc.
  • Create, track and manage processes for positioning C-Suite IT Executives to the right business partners internal/external to Hartman


  • 5-7+ years of experience in relationship management preferably within the professional services, talent acquisition or executive search sectors
  • Ability to develop strategic relationships with C-Suite IT Executives is a must
  • Strong understanding of the current IT landscape and the business challenges facing CIO's within organizations
