IT Security Advisor - CMMC

Summary
Hartman Executive Advisors is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) and NIST 800-171 trained IT security and compliance professional to join our IT Security Services team. The position’s focus includes consulting and professional services for government contractors, including with the Department of Defense, with a focus on CMMC readiness and NIST 800-171 compliance. The role requires awareness and prior experience with CMMC readiness and 800-171 and includes technical system implementation, configuration, and compliance expertise.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive Information/Cyber Security experience within federal contracting/DIB space.
  • Familiarity with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).
  • Strong understanding of and experience with NIST 800-171 compliance.
  • Knowledge and experience with Federal Controlled Information (FCI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
  • Knowledge and experience working with a wide variety of security tools, platforms and applications.
  • Ability to interact effectively with external 3rd party vendors and achieve the maximum benefit for internal business constituents when procuring products and services from outside entities.
  • Possess a process focused mindset in addressing business problems.
  • Proven ability to gather, understand, document and communicate business requirements as well as translate requirements into systems specifications/project deliverables.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, budgeting, verbal, writing, executive presentation, and meeting management skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively across organization/ diverse cultures, and communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
  • Ability to align/ focus resources across the organization in achieving short and long-term goals.
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT/Engineering/Business or related field
  • Possess industry certifications such as CISSP preferred.
