IT Manager - Contractor

We are seeking an IT Manager contractor to join Hartman's team supporting and managing the day to day operations of our credit union client's technology infrastructure, associated systems and business applications.  Responsibilities include:

  • Local and wide area network design, management, and support
  • Voice, data, and video telecommunications and associated solutions
  • Remote access systems, server and storage system design, engineering, and administration including back-up and replication
  • Directory services and account administration, messaging systems, and end user support
  • Oversee company’s enterprise data warehouse and continued build out of secure and scalable business intelligence reporting tools
  • Ensures effective and efficient operations of Credit Union applications, meeting or exceeding needs of the organization
Essential Duties:
  • Manage/monitor corporate networks, systems, and applications
  • Oversight of project management work
  • Relationship management with internal and external stakeholders including 3rd party vendors
  • College Degree preferred but not required
  • 3-5 years of experience working in an IT management capacity and/or in a system administrator capacity preferably in a banking/financial services environment
  • Knowledge and experience working hands-on with HW/SW, business systems & applications, databases, firewalls, routers, switches, 
  • Experience leading/managing a small team
  • Experience managing IT budgets is a plus 
This is a contract opportunity with strong potential to convert to full-time.  Majority of work will be performed remotely but will require to be onsite in Bel Air, MD occasionally for meetings.
