Office 365 Implementation Consultant

Summary
We are seeking to partner with a contractor to support project-based engagements as it relates to O365 implementations for Hartman's clients where you will partner with Hartman's Director of Workforce Solutions, working closely with key client stakeholders to collaborate, develop and execute strategic plans for Microsoft O365 implementations, upgrades and migrations that are custom to our client's needs and align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day operations of Office 365 tenants for a portfolio of clients  
  • Create, configure, and manage SharePoint sites, libraries, and lists based on departmental needs.
  • Develop and implement site templates, workflows, and content types
  • Manage complex hybrid environments and advanced cloud infrastructure, including Office 365 issues, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
  • Lead the administration of Microsoft 365 services, including user management, security configurations, and compliance.
  • Monitor system performance and usage, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for M365 implementations, upgrades, and migrations, aligning with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide SharePoint solutions tailored to business needs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for SharePoint-related inquiries and provide expert guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.
  • Implement security measures to protect sensitive information stored in SharePoint.
Qualifications
  • Candidates applying for this position should have at least 5-7 years of experience working with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Bachelors Degree in IT related field preferred but not required
  • 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft O365 and associated tools including but not limited to SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive
  • Proven track record in managing customer relationships and stakeholder expectations, including providing high-level project support and technical guidance.
  • Experience with Office 365 and the Microsoft strategy for Office and email platforms, preferably Exchange/Outlook.
  • Understanding of Office 365 licensing, Azure Active Directory, and Exchange mail flow and tracking.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office architecture and design principles at enterprise scale.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities.
