Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) - Financial Services

SUMMARY
Hartman is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Financial Services Practice to provide advisory, cyber, and analysis services to a portfolio of Hartman’s Financial Services clients which primarily includes community banks and credit unions.  This role is client-facing, working closely with the C-Suite to consult in a variety of areas including data/cyber security as well as addressing customer, regulatory, board/corporate concerns.  The CISO will also lead security risk assessments, compliance audits, oversee execution of remediation activities, guide security/performance measures, and evaluate opportunities to improve current and future services in support of client objectives within Hartman’s Financial Services Practice. 

QUALIFICATIONS
  • +7 years of progressively more responsible cyber/information security leadership roles preferably within a Financial Services environment
  • Knowledge of banking/financial services regulations, requirements, security assessments and compliance audits
  • Ability to effectively interact with outside vendors and achieve the maximum benefit for internal business constituents when procuring products and services from outside entities.
  • Process-focused mindset in which to address business problems.
  • Vigilant accountability in relation to deadlines and deliverables.
  • Proven ability to gather, understand, document, and communicate business requirements and to translate these into systems specifications/project deliverables.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, budgeting, verbal, writing, executive presentation, and meeting management skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively across organization/ diverse cultures, and communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
  • Initiative to identify and communicate opportunities to contribute additional value to existing and prospective clients.
  • Ability to align/ focus resources across the organization in achieving short and long-term goals.
  • Self-motivated, independent, cooperative, flexible, creative.
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field
  • MBA preferred but not required
Job Type:  Full-Time

Compensation: $160,000-$230,000 a year.  In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for variable compensation plan between 0-20%.
