Job Description:
The Enterprise Applications Lead will be responsible for overseeing the entire MetaCoastal applications portfolio and reports to the CIO or equivalent executive.  This position will be actively involved with collaborating with business and other IT leaders in developing and driving an overall IT application strategy including the effective use of existing applications, implementations of new applications and a robust reporting platform to support business information needs.  This position will also be responsible for recruiting, developing, and managing both internal and external resources pertaining to ongoing software development needs.
 
Responsibilities:
  1. Recruit, manage, mentor, and motivate a team of developers, business analysts or external implementation specialists
  2. Ensure end-user performance and efficiencies by executing best practice strategies in the , development of  standard operating procedures/process design, documentation, and user training 
  3. Participate in strategic planning for the future to include collaboration with all Enterprise entities
  4. Maintain knowledge of new technology developments and forecast future trends in the area of application integration
  5. Identify, onboard, and manage any necessary vendor relationships pertaining to system development needs
  6. Facilitate and participate in meetings with stakeholders providing leadership and consult defining business requirements and ensuring current and new applications are meeting entity needs while generating ideas for enhancements to support entity efficiency and growth
  7. Collaborate with peer Infrastructure and Information Management IT leaders to ensure the application portfolio fits into the technical infrastructure
  8. Lead requirements gathering, application selection and the implementation of new applications and post implementation activities to maximize ROI and end user satisfaction
  9. Develop comprehensive testing strategy for new applications, application updates, and upgrades.  Identify impediments and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
  10. Maintain code quality, proper and secure change management controls and organization
 
Experience and Skills:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred or equivalent combinations of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities have been acquired
  2. Familiarity with e-commerce, property management, and hospitality industries considered a plus
  3. 5-7 years of relevant experience leading software development teams operating in an agile/scrum-based environment
  4. Prior management experience required
  5. Prior experience with enterprise caliber Backoffice systems required (i.e. Financials, HR, Payroll, etc.) 
  6. Prior experience with Oracle cloud-based platforms would be a plus (i.e. Oracle Fusion, Service Cloud, and Field Service)
  7. Knowledge of C#, .NET and MVC /API frameworks is highly desired
  8. Prior experience with modern CRM and Marketing Automation systems would be a plus
  9. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (TFS Preferred)
  10. Knowledge of AngularJS or another related JS Framework is a plus
  11. Self-motivated and directed with strong organizational skills and keen ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  12. Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills.  Customer service oriented.
  13. Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.  Ability to train users and communicate procedures and changes related to technology.
